I believe a workout should be short and efficient! As a busy mom, I don't have time to go to the gym for hours a day! I believe you can get a great workout at home, with minimal equipment, for 30 minutes a day. I don't only think this....I KNOW this because that is what has worked for me over the past 2 years. I used to spend hours in the gym on the treadmill or elliptical machine while staying frustrated that I wasn't getting the results I wanted. I never wanted to lift weights, especially not heavy ones, because I didn't want to get "bulky". Fast-forward to when I decided to make a change. My kids would cry every time I left them in the gym child care and I never felt like I could attend the classes I wanted to because of nap times or dinner time. I finally let go of my long term gym membership and took matters into my own hands. I discovered HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts and began incorporating that and weight training with the little equipment I had into workouts at home. To my surprise and delight I started to actually change my body and seeing the results I had always wanted during the treadmill/elliptical years! I wasn't just losing weight, I was changing the make-up of my body and building muscle that wasn't "bulky"! The rest is history as I continued to transform my body, learned more about health and fitness, and discovered the 21 Day Fix and other Beachbody products. I decided to help others experience the same positive and life changing results by sharing what I had learned.
